Blackpowder Pistol

I enjoy shooting blackpowder. Before I went to PNG a guy gave me and my brother a pistol kit to put together. That was a lot of fun. Unfortunately we didn't get to shoot it until I got back this summer. It's a blast to shoot! Here's some videos.

Of Pizza and Cars

Today I went up to church to help out with pizza outreach. The first Wednesday of every month the church feeds pizza, pop, and corndogs to the high school kids from across the street for lunch. The next day they're invited back for corndogs and to talk about spiritual things. It can feel like a zoo with 700 - 900 kids coming through in about two hours, but it is a neat way to reach out to these kids! I think last month they had like 400 kids come back for the second day. I didn't get any pictures because I kept pretty busy!

  After that, I came home and worked on my car. I finally got it back on the road again today, but it's still leaking a bit of oil. I'm gonna try some stop leak and hope that works! The car's been a work in progress for awhile. I bought another used engine and swaped it out with the old one, when I discovered the cause of the low compression - burned out valves. Then the front seal gave out in the new engine, so I tore it down and changed it out, just now getting it back together. I've done a lot of other things to it as well and am hoping to just be able to drive it here pretty soon, instead of always fixing it! I must say though, it's been a great project and I am learning tons!    FlintNSparks
